غرض الكاتب هو ما يريد تحقيقه بالنص: إعلام، تحذير، إقناع، أو وصف إجراء. يختلف عن الفكرة الرئيسية (ماذا يقول) وعن التفصيل (حقيقة واحدة).

شرح أصلي للتدريب، وليس سؤال اختبار رسمي ولا درجة متوقعة.

متى يظهر هذا في التدريب؟

يظهر عندما يسأل السؤال author’s purpose أو why the author wrote أو what is the passage mainly trying to do. انظر إلى الفعل والنداء: register now, do not ignore, learn how.

الشرح

Inform يشرح حقيقة أو عملية: how the card works, what the policy means.

Warn يحذّر من خطر أو موعد: do not wait, failure to register may delay…

Persuade يدعوك لفعل: sign up, switch, support the change.

Describe a procedure يوجّه خطوات: first bring your ID, then…

Tone يساعد: urgent language → warn أو persuade؛ neutral steps → inform.

أمثلة

أخطاء شائعة

خلط الغرض مع فكرة. الفكرة ماذا يقول النص؛ الغرض لماذا كُتب.

اختيار تفصيل واحد. رقم أو وقت مذكور ليس purpose.

افتراض entertain. نصوص STEP غالبًا إعلانية أو تعليمية لا قصة ترفيهية.

كيف تحل السؤال؟

  1. اسأل: ماذا يريد القارئ أن يفعل أو يفهم بعد القراءة؟
  2. ابحث عن أفعال أمر أو تحذير.
  3. ارفض خيارات تذكر رقمًا فقط.
  4. قارن inform/warn/persuade بالنبرة.
