الفكرة الرئيسية

اسأل: لماذا كُتب النص؟ الفكرة الرئيسية تلخّص الغرض أو النتيجة العامة، لا تفصيلًا واحدًا من جملة وسط النص. إذا غيّرت الجملة المرشحة معنى الفقرة كلها فهي أوسع أو أضيق من المطلوب.

التفاصيل

التفاصيل أرقام وأسماء وأوقات وشروط مذكورة صراحة. ارجع إلى الجملة التي تحمل الدليل قبل الاختيار. لا تخلط بين يوم الإغلاق ووقت الفتح، ولا بين هدف لاحق ونتيجة حصلت فعلًا.

الاستنتاج

الاستنتاج يُفهم من النص دون أن يُقال حرفيًا بكلمات السؤال. اربطه بسبب مذكور أو نتيجة مذكورة. لا تضف معلومات من خارج القطعة، ولا تختر عكس ما يصرّح به الكاتب.

معنى الكلمة من السياق

اقرأ الجملة كاملة ثم الجملة قبلها وبعدها. ابحث عن تفسير، مثال، نتيجة، أو كلمة مضادة. المعنى السياقي قد يختلف عن أول ترجمة تتبادر إلى ذهنك.
